Role overview This entry-level HVAC and Generator Technician position is based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role centers on maintaining and repairing commercial generators and HVAC systems at telecom and cell tower sites in the local area. Key responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair generators and HVAC systems at telecom and cell tower locations Maintain commercial cooling systems for telecom equipment shelters Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, load-bank testing, and performance evaluations Carry out basic generator repairs, oil changes, lubrication, and fuel system maintenance Respond to emergency callouts at any hour and complete detailed service reports Preferred experience and skills At least 1 year of experience in generator or HVAC service (technical school experience accepted), preferred but not required Background with ATS, electrical troubleshooting, and critical power systems is a plus EPA Universal or Type II Certification preferred; EGSA certification is beneficial Familiarity with FCC, FAA, EPA, and OSHA standards Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
