We value collaboration without the limits of a traditional office. Role Overview The Platform team builds and maintains backend services for Speechify. This covers payments, analytics, subscriptions, new product features, text-to-speech systems, and external APIs. The team seeks someone who enjoys product development, thinks strategically, and consistently delivers strong user experiences. A hands-on approach, clear communication, and a strong work ethic matter here. Leadership comes from technical skill and results, not hierarchy. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain APIs, including public text-to-speech endpoints and internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and usage tracking, so they scale and fit business needs. Oversee the backend API landscape, focusing on performance and long-term maintainability. Work on B2B solutions, customizing and integrating backend systems for enterprise clients. Collaborate with teams across Speechify to ensure backend architecture supports the product strategy and improves user experience. Location This role is based in Gurgaon, India.
