Role Overview: Human Capital Compliance Lead (Gurgaon)
This Gurgaon-based position leads risk, controls, and compliance for People Operations at KKR. The Human Capital Compliance Lead will unify and strengthen the global risk and controls framework within HR, supporting all regions and time zones. The role ensures HR processes, systems, and operations remain compliant and scalable across the employee lifecycle.
Collaboration is central to this position. The role partners with HRIS (Workday), Legal, Privacy, Audit, and People Operations leaders worldwide. Responsibilities include consolidating the HR controls landscape, aligning documentation and evidence standards, defining testing cadence and governance, and embedding both preventive and detective controls into process and system designs.
This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires sound judgment and careful documentation. The position provides senior leadership with clear, global reporting on control health, emerging risks, and remediation progress, often through dashboards and targeted reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Unify and enhance the global risk and controls framework for People Operations.
- Work across global regions, time zones, and operating models to maintain compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with HRIS (Workday), Legal, Privacy, Audit, and People Operations leaders to consolidate and standardize HR controls.
