Role Overview Position: Substation Procurement Officer (Grade O2) Location: Gurgaon, Haryāna, India Compensation: Up to 11 LPA Experience Required: 3–5 years Openings: 1 About the Position The Substation Procurement Officer manages end-to-end procurement for high-voltage GIS and AIS substation projects. This role works closely with engineering, project management, and supplier teams to ensure equipment and materials reach project sites on schedule and within budget. Main Responsibilities Direct procurement for awarded GIS/AIS substation projects, including 220KV, 400KV, and 765KV substations for clients such as IOCL, NTPC, and BSPTCL. Maintain project procurement plans that match project schedules. Issue RFQs based on procurement plans, run comparative cost analyses, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive and technically compliant offers. Create CPDCs and Purchase Orders in SAP, obtain necessary approvals, and follow up with suppliers to ensure materials are dispatched on time. Coordinate submission of supplier documents (equipment drawings, GTP, QAP, TTR) to the engineering team, obtain required approvals, and provide Manufacturing Clearance (MFC) to suppliers. Support procurement activities during bidding and tendering by sourcing competitive offers for cost estimation.
