ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will spearhead initiatives aimed at preserving and enhancing software quality. This role involves steering the quality assurance lifecycle within Agile methodologies, formulating testing strategies in collaboration with development and product teams, and executing comprehensive test plans and cases. The candidate will be instrumental in mentoring QA team members, developing and executing automated tests for mobile and web applications, and ensuring the maintenance of continuous integration processes. Additional responsibilities will be assigned by management as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze design specifications to grasp the software product’s scope, requirements, and functionalities.
- Develop, revise, and uphold test cases necessary for testing across all dimensions.
- Conduct testing to verify that products meet user requirements and adhere to established standards.
- Utilize bug tracking tools like JIRA to monitor, manage, and report defects.
- Examine logs, identify issues, and provide daily status updates.
COLLABORATION:
- Collaborate closely with the Manager and Product Managers to determine use cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Deliver testing results and reports to the Manager and Product Managers.
- Engage with other QA teams and developers (both internal and external) to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Manage multiple products or tasks concurrently based on priority.
- Facilitate coordination of testing efforts across various offices and teams.
- Assist Solutions and Technology Content/Documentation teams with use case analysis and documentation.
