In this role, you will be instrumental in driving forward our research and development initiatives, exploring innovative concepts and methodologies for the advancement of future quantum RF sensor systems. Collaborating closely with a team of dedicated physicists and engineers, your contributions will be vital to our collective success.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESResearch and Development ExcellenceTranslate product requirements into detailed atomic system designs.Lead and manage high-impact research projects.Conduct modeling, simulation, and analytical calculations to design systems that meet performance specifications.Develop and execute comprehensive testing and verification plans.Integrate complex opto-mechanical systems, electronics, and software into leading-edge quantum devices.Perform essential technical tasks from equipment setup to system demonstration.Identify suitable materials and components to fulfill project requirements.Document project developments, addressing and resolving any challenges encountered.Team CollaborationWork collaboratively with team members to meet tight deadlines.Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative commercial and non-commercial products, as well as draft new quantum-led initiatives.Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment where project priorities may shift based on evolving technological landscapes.Embrace learning opportunities, integrate feedback, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams to manage uncertainties.Assess complex situations, adapt swiftly, and make informed decisions amidst ambiguity.Stakeholder EngagementContribute to external reports and publications, author or co-author papers, proposals, presentations, and reports, and deliver invited talks at conferences.
