The Global Events Manager at Aiven shapes memorable brand experiences across both in-person and virtual settings. This role involves much more than logistics: it calls for building environments that resonate within the tech industry and leave a lasting impact. Events range from major conferences such as AWS re:Invent and Kafka Summit to Aiven’s own initiatives, including Customer Advisory Boards, User Roadshows, and the Annual Sales Kick-off.
What you will do
- Plan and deliver a diverse global event calendar, including large industry trade shows and internal programs.
- Take ownership of the "Aiven Experience" at all events, ensuring consistency and quality at Customer Advisory Boards, User Conferences, Community Roadshows, and the Annual Employee Kick-off.
- Design events with a deep understanding of key audiences, Developers, Architects, CTOs, while reflecting Aiven’s internal culture in every detail.
- Develop creative concepts that help Aiven stand out, taking thoughtful risks to strengthen the company’s position at industry gatherings.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple global events, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables with a focus on maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Represent Aiven at events, communicating the company’s value, connecting with prospects, and facilitating introductions to technical and sales teams.
- Direct a network of global vendors and boutique agencies, ensuring all event assets, from promotional materials to large-scale booths, meet Aiven’s quality expectations.
- Collaborate with Revenue Marketing and Operations to set measurable goals, manage lead capture, and report on event outcomes such as ROI, pipeline influence, and customer growth.
