This position includes developing and implementing effective quality control procedures, conducting thorough root cause analyses for defects, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives to guarantee product reliability and compliance with aerospace industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and uphold quality assurance and quality control processes for thruster and electric propulsion production lines.Conduct inspections and audits of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished thrusters to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to swiftly address quality issues.Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify trends and pinpoint areas for process enhancement.Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality non-conformances.Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace standards and customer requirements (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation including inspection plans, test procedures, and control charts.Support qualification and validation activities for new production processes and product introductions.Participate in supplier quality management and audits to verify that incoming components meet the necessary standards.Provide training and guidance on quality standards and best practices to production personnel.Facilitate internal and external quality audits and address audit findings.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, yield, and reliability.
