Join TMEIC Corporation Americas as a Procurement Manager in our Houston, TX office, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategy to meet Mid-Range Plan (MRP) commitments effectively. You will be responsible for building a resilient procurement organization within the allocated capital and human resources.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the supplier qualification, selection, and recertification processes to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Manage the supplier management program to ensure alignment with company metrics and adherence to global regulatory, product safety, and ethical standards.
- Assemble and nurture a high-performing team of procurement professionals committed to excellence.
- Establish strategic sourcing relationships with key suppliers to optimize procurement efficiency.
- Negotiate and manage Master Service Agreements (MSA) with essential suppliers for both project and non-project purchases.
- Continuously assess and improve methods to enhance operational process quality and efficiency in response to evolving organizational needs and market dynamics.
- Oversee the development and communication of forecasts for future supply demands, ensuring fulfillment as promised.
- Collaborate with business units to resolve supplier quality and delivery issues.
- Provide global product sourcing services as needed for parent and group companies.
