Role overview
The Senior Analytics Platform Engineer (AI-Driven Solutions) plays a central role in transforming how analytics works at Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies. The Core Data team is developing a platform that moves beyond static dashboards, enabling dynamic, interactive analytics for the entire organization.
This role focuses on building and enhancing platforms, products, and frameworks that make reliable data accessible and usable for a wide range of users, engineers, operators, analysts, executives, and AI agents. The mission: empower everyone in the company to explore, report, and make decisions with confidence and agility.
What you will do
- Lead the advancement of the analytics ecosystem, shaping how data is accessed and used by both people and AI agents
- Work hands-on at the intersection of data engineering, platform engineering, and AI
- Help define and implement a vision for AI-driven analytics, including context-aware self-service, conversational interfaces, and agent-assisted workflows
- Drive efforts to lower barriers to data access, reduce friction, and support a shift in how the organization leverages data
