This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments such as local finance teams, the S4 group team, FP&A, MDs, tax, legal, and HR. As a Finance Manager, you will hold financial controlling responsibilities for various APAC entities and engage with global finance teams from the US, LATAM, APAC, and EMEA during the monthly consolidation process. Your focus will be on financial reporting, process enhancement, and integration aligned with company acquisitions. This position reports directly to the APAC Financial Controller based in Singapore.Key Responsibilities:Provide guidance and support to the local APAC accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for entities within your purview.Analyze and review monthly reporting packages for various company groups, liaising with local finance teams to ensure accuracy.Lead the monthly consolidation process and intercompany reconciliations, reporting to the S4 group team.Act as the primary point of contact for financial queries and reporting.

Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with local government officials, including the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Department, and Special Services.Oversee coordination among departments during emergency situations to ensure the safety of visitors, staff, and contractors within MyTOWN Shopping Centre. Lead initiatives aimed at identifying, implementing, and enhancing systems that mitigate business losses, financial impacts, and prevent incidents.Conduct thorough risk assessments across all business functions.Manage the performance of outsourced security personnel and the auxiliary police unit, providing comprehensive monthly reports.Lead the security department, ensuring compliance with MyTOWN’s safety and security protocols in all aspects of security controls and systems.Oversee the operations of the Fire Control Room and all associated systems, including Fire Protection, Public Address, Fireman Intercom, CCTV, and lift controls, ensuring all maintenance and reporting protocols are adhered to.Implement and enforce safety and fire regulations within the mall, including conducting security inspections and audits. Develop strategies for continuous improvement in mall security.Oversee the annual CAPEX and OPEX budget planning for the security department.Investigate and report on safety and security incidents in a timely manner, including reviewing Lost and Found reports and taking necessary follow-up actions.Ensure high security standards across all monitored areas and address potential operational challenges, including crowd and traffic management, process gaps, and risk exposure.Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, including Sec Check and insurance inspections, while coordinating with the Emergency Response Team for effective emergency management.Train and familiarize all Auxiliary Police and Security Personnel with firefighting, theft response, bomb threat management, and incident handling in accordance with MyTOWN’s Safety and Security protocols and relevant government regulations.Promote awareness among co-workers and external service providers regarding MyTOWN’s Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption & Bribery Policy, operational procedures, and local health, safety, and environmental legislation to foster a culture of transparency and ethical behavior.
