Join ProgressSoft as a Business Development Officer (BDO) and leverage your expertise in banking and payment solutions to drive growth across Anglophone African markets. We seek a dynamic individual with 5-10 years of sales experience, specifically within the banking sector, who has established connections with major banks in English-speaking African countries. Your role will entail managing the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach and contract signing to ongoing client support. You will conduct market analyses and cultivate relationships with senior management in the Banking and Financial Services Industry to foster business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets set by ProgressSoft.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for Anglophone markets aligned with ProgressSoft’s strategic business objectives for 2022-2026.
- Oversee the full sales cycle while collaborating with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technical Team Leaders.
- Engage effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Bidding Team to create proposals that reflect client business requirements and ProgressSoft's capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and proposals for solutions and maintenance services.
- Utilize ProgressSoft’s CRM system to maintain and update client profiles.
- Conduct competitive analysis and prepare comparison reports.
- Identify and explore new market opportunities.
- Establish strong distribution channels with globally recognized firms.
