The General Manager will spearhead strategic and operational oversight of Client Investments’ diverse investment portfolio. This executive role demands an exceptional leader with extensive expertise in cross-sector investment practices, particularly in hospitality, financial services, and the upstream petroleum industry. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, commercial insight, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily management of all Client business units to ensure alignment with Rainoil Group's strategic goals.
- Leading the execution of investment strategies and portfolio management, encompassing M&A, joint ventures, and divestitures.
- Coordinating the development and implementation of the Asaba Hotel Development project and other hospitality initiatives.
- Supervising financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and operational audits.
- Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities in the energy, finance, and hospitality sectors.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, corporate governance, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles across all sectors.
- Providing the board with operational and financial insights, project updates, and risk assessments.
