As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will be pivotal in nurturing a robust safety culture while assisting teams in executing high-quality projects throughout the organization.In this role, you will be recognized as a subject matter expert providing firmwide consultation to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment. You will work closely with project teams, technical leaders, and clients to enhance safety performance, influence strategic decisions, and develop scalable EHS programs that support safe project delivery across the entire project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLeverage specialized EHS knowledge to collaborate with client and project pursuit teams in developing effective safety strategies.Partner with project managers, engineers, and client pursuit teams to create practical and compliant safety measures for projects.Lead or contribute to cross-functional EHS initiatives focusing on jobsite safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.Interpret OSHA requirements, industry standards, and best practices in construction and engineering, translating them into actionable solutions.Oversee the development and implementation of firmwide EHS programs that promote safe practices and operations.Collaborate across disciplines, offices, and project types to ensure consistent application of Olsson’s EHS strategy.Analyze safety metrics, incident trends, and audit findings to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.Represent Olsson professionally with clients, contractors, regulators, and industry partners.
