Role Overview: Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer - Missile Defense Tooling & MGSE Design This position focuses on technical leadership for tooling and mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) within Missile Defense programs. The role is based in either Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA. What You Will Do Act as the technical authority for tooling and MGSE design in missile defense projects. Lead or contribute as a senior engineer, depending on experience and program needs. Develop and execute program tooling strategies, including setting engineering standards. Guide and mentor a team of engineers (for Staff level). Serve as the primary liaison with program leadership, Missile Defense Agency (MDA) offices, and government stakeholders. What We’re Looking For Over 8 years of experience in tooling and MGSE design. Background in missile defense, missile systems, rocket propulsion, or related defense manufacturing fields. Ability to work autonomously or lead a team, depending on level of seniority.
