hirefellows is seeking a Director of Product Strategy to join its digital lending business in Manama, Bahrain. This leadership role shapes the direction of product strategy, aligning the Product department with company goals. The Director will drive market expansion, oversee growth initiatives, and ensure digital lending solutions meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
This position manages cross-functional teams and is responsible for key performance indicators, including P&L management, budget oversight, and market penetration.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement business strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Strengthen the company’s market position in Bahrain and assess opportunities for entry into new markets.
Departmental Oversight
- Lead the product innovation team to deliver digital lending solutions that satisfy customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Advance business development efforts by building partnerships and improving distribution channels.
Financial Management
- Oversee P&L to achieve revenue and profitability targets across business units.
- Manage departmental budgets, focusing on cost-effective growth and impact.
Performance Management
- Set and track departmental KPIs related to growth, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Review performance metrics, report progress to the CEO, and adjust strategies as needed.
Market Expansion
- Identify new market opportunities and conduct feasibility studies to expand digital lending in the GCC region.
- Lead product launches and enhancements in response to market needs and consumer trends.
Risk and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations for lending, consumer finance, and data privacy.
Key Performance Indicators
- Stay within budget and control costs.
- Meet product targets as set by the business plan.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly user acquisition and retention metrics.
- Grow market share in selected countries.
- Establish new distribution channels and strategic partnerships as planned.
