Role Overview: Data Engineer Location: Miami, Florida, United States The Data Engineer will join the Data Integration and Architecture team, focusing on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and database infrastructure to support analytics and reporting. This position plays a key role in ensuring database stability, optimizing indexation, implementing backup systems, and developing efficient data models. Close collaboration with the analytics team is essential to provide a secure and reliable platform for data use. Main Responsibilities Design, optimize, and maintain data models and schemas in PostgreSQL, with attention to indexation and structural integrity. Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data and ensure business continuity. Monitor database performance and resource usage, resolving issues proactively to avoid downstream impacts. Contribute to the design and growth of the Azure-based data lake, including storage planning and reliability measures. Manage deployment, security, and environment configurations in partnership with vendor teams.
