Internship Overview The Field Engineering Intern will join the Project Execution Team in the Moab office. This role centers on hands-on involvement in the construction of the Lithium One refinery. Interns work alongside engineers and industry professionals, contributing directly to project development and problem-solving, not just support work. Main Responsibilities Support construction activities for the Copper One greenfield project. Coordinate with subcontractors, help manage schedules, and monitor budgets to keep projects on track. Use MarianaOS to develop, test, and improve solutions, helping build a software-focused construction team. Analyze data and field systems to spot inefficiencies, track progress, and improve construction outcomes. Work with colleagues in engineering, operations, and construction to clarify project goals and solve field challenges. Share findings and recommendations with the Project Execution Team at the end of the internship. Preferred Qualifications Enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management degree program. Understanding of construction sequencing, reading technical drawings, specifications, and basic project controls. Experience in construction, scheduling, estimating, or project management from coursework, internships, or fieldwork. Skill in breaking down complex field issues, setting priorities, and working independently. Clear verbal and written communication, especially for technical topics. Location This internship is based at Mariana Minerals’ Moab office.
