About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to architect, develop, and scale critical public-facing APIs. This position merges deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, architectural stewardship, and mentorship.
Your role will involve defining backend standards, guiding system design choices, and ensuring our APIs maintain security, scalability, and resilience. You will be expected to operate both at a strategic level and in hands-on technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & System Design
Own the end-to-end architecture of public-facing API platforms
Design scalable, multi-tenant, distributed systems that ensure high availability
Establish API standards: versioning, backward compatibility, documentation, and governance
Define strategies for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention
Lead initiatives for performance optimization and reliability
Engineering Execution
Develop and assess high-quality backend services utilizing Python and FastAPI
Architect and enhance asynchronous systems with Celery
