Westfalia Fruit GmbH is a key player in the global market for fresh fruit and related products. As one of Germany's largest importers of exotic fruits such as avocados, mangoes, and pomegranates, we specialize in the refinement, sorting, and packaging of imported fruits at our Munich location before distributing them to European retailers and wholesalers.
We are looking for a dynamic Junior Sales Manager (m/w/d) to enhance our team in Munich. In this role, you will assist management in developing various product categories and implementing business development strategies to seize available opportunities.
Occasional travel to other locations in Europe and the UK may be required to meet with existing clients and foster strong strategic partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Gaining a thorough understanding of the market sector, particularly the fresh produce segment, including consumer trends, competitor activities, and product lines.
- Assisting in analyzing sales data and competitor activities to inform new product development in fresh produce and supplementary products.
- Creating detailed reports for long-term forecasting and planning.
- Preparing comprehensive reports on sales, volume, margins, and pricing as needed.
- Collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure product availability, pricing accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and enhance brand awareness.
