This pivotal role will also involve serving as a liaison to WHP programs and participating in program implementation activities that align with grant development and management. You will collaborate closely with senior management on strategic proposal development while working alongside our US-based colleagues in business development and donor relationship management. Our targeted donors and partners span foundations, bilateral and multilateral donors, impact investors, and innovative social enterprises.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is deeply inquisitive about issues extending beyond WHP’s routine programs, and who exhibits a fervent passion for health, particularly reproductive health, with a focus on women and children. As part of a small, dedicated team, you will have limitless opportunities to engage in program implementation, communications, and new initiatives, offering a well-rounded experience and greater potential for professional growth.
While the role is based in New Delhi, its responsibilities are global in scope, and the selected candidate will be encouraged to frequently visit programs wherever they are implemented worldwide.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and coordinate with colleagues on proposal development requirements while managing proposal deadlines.
- Collaborate with US-based business development and donor relationship management teams to assess new opportunities and communicate donor requirements and program-related issues to program teams.
- Serve as a liaison between programs and functional teams within WHP, as well as between WHP and partner organizations, in coordination with country directors and program leads.
- Maintain regular communication with program leads to ensure programs are aligned with donor requirements and that issues are addressed promptly.
- Curate and maintain an up-to-date reference library of reports, news, and articles to inform the analytical components of reports and proposals.
- Organize and keep current WHP materials for proposals and briefs.
- Participate in meetings and presentations with potential partner organizations.
- Demonstrate initiative in developing a presentation and reporting model that emphasizes metrics-based program outcomes.
