Your Contribution
As a Core Developer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our technological framework, focusing on the continuous enhancement of our research and technological infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include developing essential components that streamline our trading operations, designing scalable systems and tools for high-performance computing, and ensuring our systems are optimized for speed and robustness. You'll be challenged to write elegant and efficient code daily and conduct thorough research and testing related to performance optimization, networking architecture, and hardware selection. If you are excited about solving intricate challenges in a collaborative, research-centered environment, we are eager to meet you!
What We’re Seeking
We are looking for innovative engineers who tackle problems with a comprehensive mindset. Financial expertise is not required. You should possess strong programming and analytical skills, eager to apply these talents to our advanced research and trading infrastructure. A proactive approach to project ownership and a commitment to identifying and eliminating inefficiencies are essential. You should constantly ask yourself: how can this work better?
The ideal candidate will meet most of the following qualifications:
- PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, and proficiency in C++
- Experience in latency-sensitive development and low-level system architecture
- Advanced knowledge of high-performance computing, distributed system design, and network optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and research skills
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively
