This key role provides technical direction for prototype assembly, validation testing, and the resolution of field issues, while acting as the primary contact for complex challenges regarding safety, quality, manufacturing execution, and process control.The Lead Technician collaborates closely with engineering, operations, and program teams to influence technical decisions, establish best practices, and ensure the successful execution of the HV battery build and testing process.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Ownership· Act as the technical lead for HV battery module and pack assembly, teardown, and rework, establishing standards for safety, traceability, and documentation.· Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex HV battery issues, including assembly anomalies, test failures, manufacturing faults, and safety concerns.· Manage technical triage and prioritize tasks, balancing prototype assembly, validation testing, and urgent issue responses.Build, Test, and Diagnostics· Lead advanced HV battery assembly and teardown tasks, including cell integration, busbar systems, coolant routing, enclosure sealing, and post-assembly inspections.· Supervise and facilitate validation and lifecycle testing, including the operation of automation systems, manufacturing HMIs, CAN-based tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.· Utilize and troubleshoot manufacturing execution and process control interfaces.
