This full-time position is located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Department of Energy's mission.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize your technical expertise to assess the approved safety protocols for facility operations, including evaluating the impacts of proposed modifications on safety.Act as the primary support for the Operations Manager and Shift Manager, ensuring that daily operations are conducted safely, effectively, and in line with established procedures.Collaborate with support organizations to align on planned operations and ensure compliance with the facility's safety requirements.Engage in troubleshooting and improvement initiatives to address emerging operational issues, enhancing compliance effectiveness.Take on project management responsibilities, coordinating large-scale activities that involve multiple organizational interfaces.Deliver technical briefings and presentations to explain facility operations and compliance strategies as necessary.Evaluate proposed changes against the approved Documented Safety Analysis through the Unreviewed Safety Question process.Establish processes to ensure that changes remain within the scope of the facility’s operational methods.Provide on-call coverage during assigned weekends, with responsibilities that may require weekend work.

This full-time position is located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the Department of Energy (DOE).Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and update technical procedures that guide personnel in safely executing tasks related to dimensional inspection, material testing, metrology, procurement, radiography, and weld inspection.Adhere to Y15-232, the Technical Procedure Process, and utilize the Technical Procedure Authoring Tool (TPAT).Revise administrative procedures while ensuring compliance with Y15-235, the Administrative Management Requirements Process, and the Administrative Procedure Authoring Tool (APAT).Develop Enterprise procedures relevant to both Y-12 and Pantex.Coordinate procedure reviews and facilitate comment resolution.Implement hazard controls, gather quality and performance data, and validate that procedures can be performed as intended.
