This role is a perfect blend of strategic and operational HR in a fast-paced distribution environment, managing the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, employee wellbeing, absence management, and retention.You will need to be quick to adapt, setting clear directions, making decisive choices, and taking charge of absence management, including the utilization of the Bradford Factor. Your role will involve providing managers with the support and constructive challenge necessary for successful team delivery.Collaboration with senior leadership is key to ensuring that our HR practices align with business objectives and foster a culture that enables our teams to excel.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership (Operational Focus)Oversee daily HR operations to ensure effective people processes across the organization.Assist managers with organizational changes, staffing needs, and people-related decisions.Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing culture, engagement, and team performance.Employee Relations (ER) & Absence ManagementLead all ER matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and policy updates.Design and manage a comprehensive absence management framework across the organization.Utilize tools such as the Bradford Factor to monitor sickness absence and identify trends.Coach line managers to confidently manage attendance, conduct return-to-work meetings, and follow through on formal processes as necessary.Act as a trusted advisor to managers on complex employee issues.Board Reporting & MetricsDeliver regular reports on key HR metrics, including turnover, absence rates, engagement levels, ER activities, recruitment outcomes, and DEI initiatives.Leverage data to demonstrate impact, facilitate planning, and promote accountability across the organization.Recruitment & OnboardingManage the end-to-end recruitment process and employer branding strategy.Work swiftly to attract and secure the right talent for our fast-paced distribution environment.Enhance and streamline onboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.ComplianceEnsure all HR policies, processes, and practices are legally compliant and up-to-date.Keep the organization informed and prepared for changes in employment law and HR best practices.Oversee right-to-work checks, data protection compliance (GDPR), and all statutory reporting.

About the Role As our Implementation & Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role bridging our development team and our valued customers. Your dual mission includes ensuring that every new software release is impeccably tested and guiding our new clients through the technical onboarding process as they integrate into our ecosystem.In this position, you will serve as the ultimate 'sanity check' prior to code deployment and as the technical authority ensuring a smooth initial experience for our clients with our systems.ResponsibilitiesEnsure Product Quality: Conduct comprehensive manual and regression testing for all new features and bug fixes. Your keen eye will identify bugs, document them in Jira, and advocate for the end-user, maintaining the intuitiveness of our tools.Oversee Technical Onboarding: Take charge of the 'Go-Live' process for new clients, which includes configuring API integrations with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and aligning data with our internal Warehouse Management System (WMS).Systems Architecture & Mapping: Set up the synchronization of orders, SKUs, and inventory levels across platforms, executing end-to-end tests to guarantee 100% data integrity before the first shipment.Environment Management: Establish and oversee client accounts within the WMS and customer portals, addressing any access or permissions issues that may arise.Platform Administration: Act as the internal authority for our technology stack, managing and configuring essential systems such as HubSpot, HappyFox, and other core business applications.Create the Knowledge Base: Develop and maintain comprehensive 'How-To' guides that empower our customers to confidently navigate our portals and integrations.
