This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the characterization, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing of BMS integrated circuits (ICs) tailored for automotive applications. The successful candidate will be a technical leader, well-versed in automotive quality and safety standards including AEC-Q100, APQP, and ISO 26262, and possess a profound understanding of IC design, testing, and manufacturing processes.As a critical liaison among design, testing, applications, and quality assurance teams, you will ensure that our BMS ICs meet all functional, performance, and reliability standards throughout their lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Qualification and Reliability:Lead and manage the qualification process for new BMS products, ensuring adherence to automotive standards like AEC-Q100 for stress qualification.Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive reliability plans for our products.Characterization and Validation:Create and implement characterization plans to rigorously test and validate the performance of BMS ICs across all features and operational conditions.Collaborate with design and test engineers to develop efficient test programs for characterization and high-volume production.Statistical Data Analysis:Utilize advanced statistical analysis techniques on product data to monitor processes, optimize yields, and define test limits.Employ statistical tools to diagnose and resolve performance and reliability challenges.Automotive Quality and Functional Safety:Act as the product authority for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation.Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) by facilitating validation of safety mechanisms, fault injection testing, and comprehensive reporting.Problem Solving and Failure Analysis:Lead cross-functional teams in analyzing customer returns and production test failures to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions.Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies, such as 8D, for formal reporting.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, application engineers, design, and test teams.Provide technical support during product integration and production ramp-up phases.
