Role Overview: Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: Platteville, Colorado, United States This role covers entry to mid-level maintenance tasks in an industrial setting. The technician supports operational efficiency and equipment reliability across the facility. Main Responsibilities Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance on equipment, including adjusting components and control instruments, repairing or replacing defective parts, and refurbishing machine tools. Identify and source necessary parts, supplies, and repair materials. Support department team members as directed by leadership. Stay current on industry maintenance standards. Follow 5S and housekeeping guidelines to maintain a clean and organized work area. Participate in continuous improvement activities to drive better processes and cost savings. Set up and operate basic machining equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools. May also perform basic welding. Update maintenance records and review history in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Troubleshoot basic control systems circuitry. Complete technical self-study programs to support ongoing professional development. Follow all safety policies, rules, and regulations, and maintain awareness to identify unsafe behaviors or conditions.
