In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge and sustainable solutions for substation and renewable energy projects across Canada. Your technical expertise in wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems will play a crucial role in shaping the clean energy landscape.As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with dedicated professionals, have access to mentorship and development opportunities, and occasionally engage with clients on-site to apply your skills in real-world settings.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical lead and client-facing representative, facilitating project delivery and stakeholder engagement.Lead multidisciplinary teams in the comprehensive delivery of substation projects, encompassing civil, structural, protection & control, SCADA, and telecommunications.Mentor junior engineers, cultivating a high-performing and collaborative team culture.Design electrical systems and develop technical specifications for substations and balance of plant equipment.Prepare detailed plans and specifications for HV/MV substation projects.Provide engineering expertise for electrical installations in utility substations, as well as wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects.Draft and review technical reports, engineering assessments, and design documentation.Ensure design compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver optimized, high-quality engineering solutions.Travel to project sites for inspections, assessments, and client interactions as needed.
