Role overview This remote-first Lead Revenue Accountant role focuses on managing revenue operations and technical accounting. Reporting to the Controller, the position plays a key part in implementing ASC 606, handling the month-end close, and preparing financial systems for audits. The role suits someone who can connect complex GAAP requirements with practical, scalable processes. What you will do Lead Revenue Operations: Oversee all aspects of the revenue function, maintain compliance with ASC 606, draft technical accounting policies, and deliver accurate financial reports. Month-End Close: Manage the revenue close process, including deferred revenue and accounts receivable, handling reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis. System Optimization: Support the design and testing of Quote-to-Cash initiatives to improve scalability. Audit & Compliance: Act as the main contact for external auditors and oversee indirect tax compliance. Internal Expert: Serve as the subject matter expert for revenue and accounts receivable questions, and maintain clear process documentation. Requirements Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, with deep knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 326.
