The James Dyson Foundation, established by James Dyson, is a global charity dedicated to inspiring the next generation of engineers. Our mission is to provide free educational resources and dynamic workshops to schools, showcasing the thrilling possibilities within the engineering sector. Additionally, we support aspiring engineers through the prestigious James Dyson Award.
Located within the Weybourne Group Office at the Dyson Campus in Singapore, the Foundation also has representatives in the US, Malaysia, and the UK.
The Weybourne Group serves as the holding entity for Dyson's technology initiatives, Dyson Farming, and various other interests. Beyond operational businesses, we manage a diverse investment portfolio, offering financial and professional support to the Dyson family, their estates, and personal ventures. Our operations span several sectors, including agriculture, financial investments, and real estate. Our dedicated team of approximately 75 professionals specializes in areas such as accounting, financial control, tax, treasury, commercial property, investment management, security, auditing, IT, and HR, with offices in both the UK and Singapore, where our headquarters are situated.

Role Overview:
The Project Associate will play a pivotal role in expanding the Foundation's reach, enhancing our educational initiatives, and building partnerships across Southeast Asia. A passion for the Foundation's mission and an ability to communicate it effectively are essential. We seek an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills, eager to embark on a project-oriented career, supporting:
- Expansion of the Foundation's activities in Southeast Asia (including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand) in collaboration with Dyson's Communications teams.
- Establishment of partnerships with universities to assist undergraduates in their studies and attract high-quality submissions for the annual James Dyson Award.
- Implementation of the Foundation's educational resources and STEM programs in schools and institutions across Southeast Asia to amplify our outreach.
- Coordination of volunteer opportunities for Dyson employees to engage with our initiatives.
