Role Overview
As a Production Technician at ASM, you will play a crucial role in constructing precision mechanical assemblies for advanced semiconductor equipment. Your technical skills will ensure that each component adheres to stringent quality and performance standards, aligning with ASM's goal of driving future technologies forward. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing manuals for accurate machine assembly.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls using tools like multimeters and amp meters.
- Plan and execute assembly procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Assemble complex mechanical units requiring precise alignment, calibration, and skilled craftsmanship.
- Inspect components and sub-assemblies for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Engage in cross-training and skill enhancement across various product families.
- Complete requisite certifications within designated timelines to uphold operational excellence.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing sectors.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical assembly, testing, or troubleshooting of machinery.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
