As a Supplier Industrialization Engineer, you will engage directly with our suppliers to enhance Formlabs’ capabilities and refine our product quality. If you thrive on optimizing processes and driving efficiency, we want you on our team! Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with R&D to identify and qualify suppliers for new products. Oversee the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) in the New Product Introduction (NPI) Bill of Materials (BOM), managing supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution for optimal value and quality. Serve as a liaison to communicate technical requirements between suppliers and the Formlabs R&D team. Research new manufacturing technologies and market trends to develop effective supply chain strategies. Identify supply chain risks, lead negotiations, and drive continuous improvements in supplier performance. Lead the development of manufacturing processes with R&D for new products and design changes. Manage cost modeling and estimation for new products. Engage directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure timely material procurement for NPI builds. Prepare clear-to-build reports in advance of NPI builds and update senior leadership on material availability, scheduling, and program costs.
