Cromwell Architects Engineers is excited to announce an opening for a Structural Engineer with over 5 years of experience in structural engineering design. The successful candidate will manage building projects from initial concept through to the completion of construction documents at our Springdale, AR office. A Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (MSCE) or an equivalent is preferred, along with proficiency in RISA and Revit software.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent and Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure are essential.
What to Expect:
The Structural Engineer will collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors to design structural frames and foundations for various architectural and industrial facilities. This role also includes assessing existing buildings and modifying their designs as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis and design.
- Work closely with REVIT technicians to create detailed structural plans.
- Prepare and edit structural specifications.
- Review contractor shop drawings and other related submissions.
- Occasional travel required, both within the state and nationally, with rare international trips.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including:
- Design of building projects from inception through to construction documentation.
- Assessment and modification of existing buildings.
