About the job
As a Technical PLM Architect, you will engineer, enhance, and secure the architecture of PLM solutions, primarily focusing on PTC Windchill, tailored for demanding industrial environments such as aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. You will lead architectural decisions regarding scalability, performance, and availability, oversee implementation and upgrade cycles, and establish best engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability. Your role encompasses everything from initial scoping to production deployment: analyzing business and engineering needs, urbanizing the PLM/PDM information system, integrating systems (CAD, ERP, ALM), data governance, and security.
You will serve as a technical reference for product and project teams: mentoring technical leads and developers, facilitating agile rituals (Scrum), mediating non-functional requirements, conducting code and design reviews, and supporting operational responsibilities (SLA, capacity planning, incident resolution). Collaborating closely with stakeholders (IT, business units, software vendors) will be key to ensuring solution compliance, service continuity, and alignment with the digital roadmap.
