MISSION
The Industrial Procurement Specialist (M/F) is responsible for managing the procurement activities of both airworthy and non-airworthy parts, including commercial components and subcontracting services (surface treatment, water jet cutting, etc.), essential for product realization.
This role involves configuring the system, identifying needs, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
The specialist also collaborates with suppliers and transporters to enhance their performance, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.
As part of the team, the Industrial Procurement Specialist works closely with various departments of the company, including planning, purchasing, scheduling, production, and logistics.
The core responsibilities include:
- System Configuration and Updates:
- Setting logistical conditions applicable to suppliers (contacts, supplier calendar, incoterms, payment terms, etc.);
- Defining the storage or procurement policy in collaboration with the Manager (statistical lot sizes, purchase sizes, delivery times, etc.);
- Stock Analysis:
- Establishing and analyzing stock analysis reports;
- Needs Identification and Expression:
- Analyzing long-term needs and sharing forecasts with suppliers;
- Monitoring supplier responses to forecasts and escalating any capacity shortfalls to the manager;
- Identifying firm order needs and their urgency in collaboration with Scheduling and Production;
- Placing firm orders from various flows (purchase requests, shortages, stock discrepancies, net needs calculation) and ensuring acknowledgment of receipt;
- Conducting regular reviews of the order book with suppliers and verifying compliance with commitments (deadlines, quantities, etc.);
- Performance Management:
- Measuring and sharing performance indicators with suppliers (number of delays, depth, OTD, etc.);
- Defining, implementing, and managing corrective actions;
- Leading and/or participating in supplier audits;
