Join the iKTribe as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will be instrumental in creating secure backend services and integrations that truly make a difference.Your Role: Develop and scale secure, high-availability systems in the FinTech domain, emphasizing backend services, cloud-native architectures, and payment integrations.Engage in both frontend and backend development, focusing primarily on backend services, APIs, and system integrations, while also supporting modern frontend applications using React.js, HTML5, and CSS as needed.Oversee the entire development lifecycle of FinTech systems, from architecture design and implementation to testing, deployment pipelines, and operational management in a cloud environment.Design and implement card payment integrations (both Card Present and Card Not Present), ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable transaction processing.Additionally, you will: Work in an Agile environment as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager.Demonstrate strong communication skills, take ownership of your work, and collaborate effectively within and across teams.Design, build, and manage scalable backend systems and APIs, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.Deliver high-quality software solutions in cloud-based settings (AWS preferred, but other platforms supported).Lead the design and implementation of secure payment processing flows.Take responsibility for production systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Engineers, emphasizing engineering best practices, code quality, security, and performance.Participate in and spearhead thorough code reviews, ensuring maintainability and consistency.Debug complex system issues and implement enhancements across various services.Contribute to and maintain essential technical and domain documentation.Encourage knowledge sharing within the team, both technically and domain-wise.Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities and work on complex, distributed systems.Contribute to frontend applications as necessary, demonstrating a solid understanding of modern frontend practices.
