Vialis is on the lookout for a skilled Project Leader for the Maintenance of VRI’s to elevate our area performance.
What Will You Do?
As the Project Leader for VRI Maintenance, you will take operational responsibility for the entire maintenance process of traffic control installations within your contracts. You will ensure optimal availability, reliability, and safety of the VRI’s while guaranteeing that all tasks are executed in compliance with contracts, legal regulations, and our high-quality standards.
You will monitor contractual performance, lead the maintenance team, and proactively implement measures based on data, analyses, and risk assessments. Your expertise in VRI technology and traffic systems will make you the go-to person for colleagues and clients alike.
Your Responsibilities
Manage maintenance specifically for VRI’s.
Oversee the technical performance of traffic control installations within contractual requirements (availability, safety, response times).
Manage, analyze, and optimize the FMECA and maintenance concepts for VRI’s, including components such as detection, control cabinets, controllers, and communication connections.
Provide operational direction to technicians, work preparers, and subcontractors in the domain of VRI’s.
Design and implement contract-specific processes focused on VRI management and incident handling.
Coordinate with clients regarding FMECA, maintenance strategy, and technical decisions within the VRI area.
Be responsible for the technical risk file for VRI’s.
Analyze preventive and corrective maintenance, including failure patterns, MTBF/MTTR, and recurring failures.
Organize and deliver contractual reports (excluding financial reporting) focused on performance, failures, trends, and optimizations.
Identify optimizations and process VTW’s in collaboration with engineering, asset management, and execution teams.
Spot deviations in availability, costs, or safety and determine necessary actions.
Production Management – Execution of VRI Maintenance
Operational responsibility for the safe and high-quality execution of maintenance activities on VRI’s, from preparation to handover.
Ensure that all necessary materials (detectors, loops, circuit boards, controllers), equipment, and work instructions are available.
Define budgets and ensure that tasks are performed within financial boundaries.
Monitor the scheduling and progress of work, including incidents.
