As a Design Manager at Winthrop Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating with clients and our internal design teams to ensure the successful execution of large-scale projects. Your responsibilities will include:Collaborating with the client's design team for project build and site-wide design services.Coordinating Winthrop's design teams and external consultants to guarantee design development aligns with construction progress.Leading design and engineering workshops with both internal and external engineers to proactively resolve issues and maintain workflow ahead of site activities.Managing the Technical Submittal (TS) process, ensuring compliance with specifications and timely submissions for team reviews.Overseeing the design query process, addressing concerns during weekly workshops and managing RFIs related to changes.Managing IFC releases and updates, coordinating closely with design teams to ensure all parties are informed of the latest designs and changes.Facilitating weekly Design/Engineering meetings to review progress and expedite urgent matters.
