Clinigen is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor for a 1-year fixed-term contract to join our HR Operations team. The ideal candidate will deliver a proactive and efficient HR service to our internal clients and people managers, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance with employment legislation.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert guidance and support to employees and management on various employment matters, including policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.Assist managers with HR issues while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to timelines, including:Management of short and long-term sickness, including home visits and welfare meetings.Oversee capability and performance case management.Handle disciplinary and grievance case management.Manage flexible working requests and family-friendly processes.Support HR Business Partners in change management initiatives such as restructures, TUPE, and redundancy processes.Facilitate HR skill development among managers through training on employment law and best practices.Assist managers in utilizing our performance assessment system to identify development needs.Maintain the Staff Handbook and related policies in accordance with current legislation and internal processes.Ensure compliance with the Staff Handbook and seek guidance when necessary.Draft and verify correspondence related to changes in employee terms and conditions and liaise with payroll services for salary adjustments.Manage leaver processes, including acknowledgment letters and exit interviews.Recruitment:Support the recruitment process for assigned roles, including document preparation, job advertisement placement, interview scheduling, candidate liaison, and conducting screenings and interviews with hiring managers.Continuously evaluate recruitment processes for effectiveness and recommend improvements.Participate in developing and executing overall recruitment strategies.Support business projects such as graduate recruitment and employer branding initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion.Payroll Processing:Assist HR Coordinators and Payroll Manager in monthly payroll processing.
