A collaborative nature is essential as you will be addressing process challenges across diverse projects, contributing to cross-functional teams, and taking a leadership role in devising and implementing solutions.Key Responsibilities:Function effectively as a Principal Scientist, generating innovative technical concepts and research or development strategies.Lead the development, optimization, scaling, and tech transfer of purification processes for biologics candidates to support both early and late-stage development.Champion the purification development team and actively shape development strategies within cross-functional CMC teams.Oversee the transfer of processes to pilot and GMP manufacturing environments.Engage in hands-on laboratory operations in collaboration with direct reports and/or purification development team members to achieve project milestones.Exhibit creative problem-solving abilities and advocate for new technologies to fulfill project objectives. Actively pursue new tools, techniques, and strategies to enhance the overall downstream platform.Advance scientific expertise and showcase leadership by advising and sharing expert insights with subordinates, peers, and senior management.Develop new scientific proposals and lead these initiatives.
