Your Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician who will take a systematic approach to cleaning, repairing, and maintaining our buildings, grounds, equipment, and related facilities. You will perform minor carpentry, painting, and plumbing maintenance work while overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair building fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
- Operate and conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and physical conditions remain optimal.
- Execute maintenance tasks related to carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to uphold the integrity of the building.
- Conduct janitorial duties when necessary, including:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms/locker rooms according to established procedures.
- Dusting and wiping furniture, sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors.
- Emptying and cleaning wastebaskets and trash containers.
- Using ladders as required for various tasks.
- Removing outdoor debris and maintaining grounds as assigned.
- Ensuring the landscape around buildings and fence lines is well-kept.
- Cleaning all interior windows.
- Sanitizing lunchroom floors, furniture, and countertops.
