About the job

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in simplifying the operations of complex buildings from day one?

As an FDVU Advisor at AFRY, you will play a vital role in ensuring that construction projects deliver a comprehensive and quality-controlled information platform for the operational phase. We are witnessing a growing demand for clear management of FDVU requirements, information flow, and systematic data collection throughout the project lifecycle.

In this position, you will be a key contributor to large and intricate projects, collaborating closely with designers, contractors, and operations organizations on behalf of the client to ensure that accurate information is developed and integrated from the early phases through to handover. Here, you will have the opportunity to drive and establish standards for structure, quality, and digital FDV processes that provide actionable information and create value throughout the building's lifecycle.

We recognize the significant value of integrating FDV and BIM, and how this synergy enhances data quality, information structure, and facilitates smoother handover processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining conditions and structure for data flow, including databases and document requirements
  • Optimizing and adjusting data flow according to project needs
  • Ensuring compliance with the project's FDVU requirements by contractors and suppliers
  • Coordinating with the design group and BIM coordinator to ensure adherence to equipment numbering and information enrichment in BIM
  • Collaborating with the operations organization on FDVU data flow and maintaining communication throughout the project until handover and into the operational phase
  • Structuring and systematizing data in the relevant FDVU program followed by the project
