EQL Tech is hiring a Founding Go-To-Market Lead (Growth & Community) for a venture-backed fintech client in Phoenix, Arizona. This on-site, full-time role centers on helping families navigate state-funded Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) in a $900B public education market. The company aims to replace outdated, government-focused platforms with a polished fintech product that families can trust and enjoy using.

What You Will Do
- Create a community-driven go-to-market strategy, focusing on referrals, partnerships, and direct engagement with parent networks
- Work closely with families to understand their needs, build trust, and identify adoption barriers, then translate insights into actionable GTM tactics
- Design, test, and refine referral programs, partnership models, and systems for gathering community feedback
- Lead outreach efforts in person with homeschool groups, special needs communities, local parent gatherings, educational events, and advocacy organizations
- Collaborate with founders, product, and operations teams to improve onboarding and drive account growth
- Analyze data on funnels, cohorts, activation, retention, and conversion to support decision-making
- Work with community leaders, education stakeholders, and partners to expand the company’s reach and impact
- Travel regularly to connect with families and partners face to face
