About the job
Please submit your CV in English and indicate your level of English proficiency.
Join Mindrift, where we bridge the gap between talented specialists and innovative AI projects for top tech companies. Our focus is on enhancing AI systems through testing, evaluation, and improvement. This role is project-based and does not offer permanent employment.
Opportunity Overview
As a Data Scientist, your contributions will vary by project but may include:
- Designing complex data science challenges that reflect real-world analytical processes across various sectors (telecommunications, finance, government, e-commerce, healthcare).
- Creating Python-based problems that utilize libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Sklearn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
- Ensuring tasks are computationally intensive, necessitating automation rather than manual solutions.
- Developing problems that involve intricate reasoning paths in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and deriving insights.
- Formulating deterministic problems with consistent answers, steering clear of stochastic elements unless fixed random seeds are employed.
- Grounding problems in genuine business scenarios, including customer analytics, risk evaluation, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Crafting end-to-end data science projects that traverse the complete pipeline from data ingestion to deployment considerations.
- Incorporating scenarios that demand scalable computational approaches for big data processing.
- Validating solutions using Python and standard data science libraries alongside statistical techniques.
- Documenting problem statements with clarity, providing realistic business contexts along with verified correct answers.
Qualifications
This opportunity is ideal for data science professionals with Python expertise, seeking part-time, non-permanent projects. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical data science experience demonstrating measurable business impact.
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects and publications that highlight real-world problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python programming specifically for data science applications (including pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, statsmodels).
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning, with a deep understanding of algorithms and their practical applications.
- Advanced SQL skills for effective data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases).
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
- Excellent written English skills (C1 level or higher).
Application Process
To apply, please submit your CV, pass the required qualifications, join a project, complete assigned tasks, and receive compensation for your work.
