About the job
Join the Future of Electronics Manufacturing
At CircuitHub, we are revolutionizing the electronics manufacturing landscape with The Grid, our cutting-edge robotics platform that transforms small-batch, high-mix electronics assembly into a streamlined, highly efficient process. Imagine the precision of semiconductor fabrication applied to the dynamic world of prototyping and low-volume production, resulting in a staggering 10x improvement in throughput within a critical global industry.
Backed by $20 million in funding from prestigious investors such as Y Combinator and Google Ventures, we are proud to be a profitable company. Our clientele includes industry giants like Tesla, Meta, and Zipline.
With The Grid operational and rapidly scaling, we are actively building our engineering team to propel its growth even further.
Your Role
We are seeking talented Full-Stack Robotics Engineers dedicated to maintaining and enhancing The Grid's performance. This is a hands-on, impactful position requiring full-time, on-site presence in Western Massachusetts for a minimum commitment of two years. Following this period, opportunities for relocation or remote work at future Grid sites may be considered.
As a key member of our team, you will work directly within the factory environment, taking ownership of both hardware and software systems. Your responsibilities will include optimizing camera networks, resolving robot reliability challenges, implementing new subsystems, and conducting innovative experiments to boost throughput. This is not a conventional support role; you will be at the forefront of operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This position is tailored for individuals who have hands-on experience in building complete robotic systems, whether as a hobbyist, student, employee, or founder. You will be tasked with integrating software and hardware into cohesive systems, troubleshooting failures under the pressures of real-world production.
We value engineers who possess the ability to:
Diagnose system-wide failures using first principles
Rapidly prototype mechanical and software solutions
Operate independently while effectively communicating with a remote team
Assume full responsibility for uptime and performance in live operational settings
