Key responsibilities
Sales and leasing
- Convert leads into leases through phone, online, and in-person interactions.
- Lead engaging tours that identify needs, create urgency, and close deals.
- Proactively nurture leads to boost conversion rates.
- Stay informed about pricing, availability, and competitor properties.
- Meet or exceed leasing and occupancy goals consistently.
- Use strategies to increase traffic, attract qualified prospects, and maximize revenue.
- Respond to all leads promptly with a sales-focused approach.
Resident experience
- Deliver customer service that sets a high standard for the team and community.
- Build rapport quickly and tailor each prospect's experience.
- Promote resident satisfaction to encourage renewals and referrals.
Community operations support
- Accurately complete lease paperwork and collect deposits.
- Keep CRM data and prospect records up to date.
- Help maintain the office and model units for presentation.
- Support the annual turnover process.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the property and its competitors.
- Assist with market surveys as needed.
- Handle various administrative tasks as assigned.
- Help manage all move-in and move-out activities, including deposit collection.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Residential Leasing Agent License.
- At least one year of sales or leasing experience.
- Track record of meeting sales, leasing, or conversion targets.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or similar.
- Disciplined in follow-up using multiple channels (calls, emails, texts).
- Proven ability to deliver high satisfaction through timely follow-ups and personalized tours.
- Strong work ethic and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
