Role Overview
The Geospatial Product Manager leads the roadmap for Orcrist’s geospatial offerings. This includes vector and 3D tiles, satellite data archives, offline packaging, spatial analytics, and map-driven products. The role brings together engineers, data acquisition teams, and mission partners to deliver high-performance, compliant GEOINT solutions.
What You Will Do
- Set the vision, goals, and roadmap for geospatial data pipelines, APIs, and visualization tools.
- Run discovery sessions with analysts, operators, and data partners, then convert insights into prioritized backlogs.
- Coordinate engineering, data acquisition, design, and machine learning teams to meet project milestones.
- Track metrics on map performance, data freshness, and user adoption, and share findings with leadership.
- Travel up to 20% for customer visits, field trials, and industry events.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally with geospatial or data-focused platforms.
- Understanding of data licensing, export controls, and offline or air-gapped deployment challenges.
- Strong communication skills, able to connect technical concepts with mission outcomes.
- EU or NATO citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
Preferred
- German language skills at B1 level or above.
- Background in developer-facing APIs or experience in cartography/GIS.
