Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, coupled with a minimum of twelve (12) years of pertinent experience or equivalent demonstrated education and experience. Proven ability to develop relationships that drive business growth. A collaborative spirit, thriving in diverse and multi-disciplinary environments. Experience in data center development. Self-driven, strong leader with significant experience in client-facing roles. Existing relationships with leading hyperscalers, colocation companies, and/or developers. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Capability to navigate ambiguity and lead through influence. Experience working with multicultural teams. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Experience in leading cross-functional teams.

AECOM is actively seeking a dynamic Global Account Executive to lead our Data Center and Technology Market Sector. This pivotal role will serve as the primary liaison overseeing AECOM's partnership with some of our top global technology clients, each generating an expected annual revenue ranging from $30 million to $60 million across AECOM's diverse global regions and business lines (Buildings + Places, Water, Environment + Energy, Transportation, Program Management, and Federal). You will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Technology and Data Centers, focusing on expanding AECOM's business footprint with these clients. Key performance indicators for this position will center around portfolio growth, profitable project delivery, client satisfaction, relationship strength, and the long-term strategic direction of our partnerships.

The ideal candidate is a growth-focused, resilient leader with strong connections in the data center industry, possessing a talent for nurturing relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a robust strategy aimed at achieving organic growth for the accounts, in line with our global data center and technology sector strategy.
  • Establish yourself as a recognized global leader among clients who contributes value and drives successful outcomes in alignment with their business goals.
  • Lead and guide global multi-disciplinary teams, promoting AECOM’s comprehensive suite of services.
  • Influence AECOM’s leadership decisions to ensure alignment with client priorities.
  • Forge and nurture senior and executive client relationships.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders and project teams to preemptively address challenges and enhance quality.
  • Act as a bridge across AECOM’s operations to deliver unique solutions that address complex client challenges, bolstering client satisfaction, securing repeat business, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Enhance AECOM’s brand presence in the industry through thought leadership and participation in conferences.
  • Support the recruitment and retention of client account management talent through mentorship.
  • Expand and sustain a network with existing and potential clients, leveraging industry reputation, expertise, and experience to cultivate new business opportunities.
