Position: Senior Global Product Support Engineer
At ASM, our technology is at the forefront of advanced semiconductor manufacturing. We are looking for a Senior Global Product Support Engineer who excels at tackling complex challenges and supporting state-of-the-art tools, positively impacting customers and field teams globally.
In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary technical authority, providing in-depth support for advanced EPI systems when issues exceed first-line support capabilities. Your expertise will significantly influence tool performance, customer trust, and ASM’s standing in technical excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Global Product Support Engineer, you will operate at an elevated technical level, merging hands-on problem-solving with global collaboration:
- Deliver advanced technical support for intricate electro-mechanical equipment and sophisticated software systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug issues escalated from field engineers and product support teams.
- Serve as the escalation point when standard troubleshooting methods are exhausted, providing clear solutions under pressure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams by reporting design, reliability, and maintenance insights that foster continuous improvement.
- Assist in customer installations and provide technical training when deeper expertise is necessary.
