Global Product Support Engineer – Phoenix, AZ

At ASM, our cutting-edge innovations enable the creation of the world's most advanced semiconductor devices, and the success of these innovations hinges on the expertise of our people. We are looking for a Global Product Support Engineer to join our ALD team in Phoenix. In this role, you will be instrumental in transitioning new products from concept to successful customer integration.

This position offers the chance to become a system-level authority for next-generation ALD tools, collaborating closely with development teams and customers to ensure our technology meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and effectiveness in real-world manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this impactful role, you will serve as the crucial link between product development and the manufacturing environment, overseeing key phases in the lifecycle of new ALD systems:

  • Act as the system-level technical authority for new product development.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Electrical, Controls, Process, and Software engineering teams to gain in-depth knowledge of new platforms.
  • Influence product design by providing customer-centric insights on serviceability, manufacturability, and preventive maintenance.
  • Oversee the initial build and testing of new products in development labs, proactively identifying issues and proposing immediate solutions.
  • Create and document best practices and procedures for service, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Lead First-in-Fab (Alpha and Beta) deployments, ensuring customer fab readiness and installation success.
